There were days during my kidney journey when it felt like nothing was happening.

Test after test.

Phone call after phone call.

Delay after delay.

Every time I thought we were getting closer to a transplant, something seemed to stand in the way. I prayed. I questioned. I wondered if God had forgotten me.

Then I realized something.

God wasn't making me wait because He was absent.

He was making me wait because He was preparing something I couldn't yet see.

Looking back, I can now see His fingerprints all over those delays. Every appointment, every setback, every disappointment was part of a bigger story that eventually led to the greatest gift I have ever received — a healthy kidney donated by my wife.

Isaiah 40:31 says:

Waiting is never easy.

But waiting with God is never wasted.

If you're waiting today — for healing, for answers, for a job, for restoration — don't give up.

God is still working even when you can't see Him.

Instead of asking, "Why am I waiting?"

Ask, "Lord, what are You teaching me while I wait?"

Father, help me trust You even when I don't understand Your timing. Give me peace in the waiting and faith to believe that You are working all things together for my good. In Jesus' name, Amen.
